Begin your vacation in 'old west country' by bunking in a true New Mexico ranch Cottage cabin rental. The "Rio Lobo" Cottage is a gently upgraded vintage 1940's cowboy bunkhouse near the Gila National Forest and the Gila River. This historic cabin is situated at the headquarters of the Double E Ranch in a surprising hidden valley just a few miles from the Village of Gila NM. You are invited to take a peak at what early ranching life was like in rural Grant County New Mexico. Meticulously handcrafted 50 year old maple hutch, coffee, end and dining tables, the spacious living room is reminiscent of times gone-by.
